General Services: Chinese Association of Economics and Business at Penn is a non-profit organization aimed at facilitating the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and information on research and practice in Economics and all business-related disciplines.

Overview:
The Chinese Association of Economics and Business (CAEB) at the University of Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization aimed at facilitating the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and information on research and practice in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Management, Public Policy, Information Technology, Operations, Research, Real Estate, Health Care, Legal Studies, Statistics, and other related disciplines.

The organization combines the economic research in both the Economics Department and Wharton School at Penn, and extensively discusses the possible applications of economic research in the business area, especially those applications to the economic development of China. CAEB mainly specializes in the connection among Chinese students, scholars and professionals, and it further seeks a connection between Chinese and the rest of the Penn society. CAEB brings together the collective wisdom and expertise of Chinese scholars and professionals active in fields of Economics and Business at Penn in an effort to build up a network that fosters the communication between economic research and other related research in business as well as and the communication between academic research and business practice.

In pursuit of these goals, CAEB organizes and sponsors a broad range of activities including regular seminars and symposia, conferences, training programs, translations, publications, and annual meetings.
