Overview:
The Chester County International Business Council (CCIBC) is an economic development initiative of the Chester County Economic Development Council.

Established in 1999, The Chester County International Business Council provides local companies with export consulting and market research; educational seminars and international events; market access grants; and access to the 15 Pennsylvania Overseas Representatives for in-county support, trade missions, trade shows, and trade leads. The CCIBC also represents and promotes the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia. Through the efforts of its consulting program and its Chester County International Business Council's Advisory Board, the Council's international trade program was successful in assisting Chester County companies in generating over $14 million in export sales for last year.

The CCIBC receives guidance and expertise from its volunteer 33-person Advisory Board and funding from the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia to deliver export assistance services to small to medium sized companies located in Chester County. Activities of the CCIBC are designed to facilitate the export sales of Chester County companies. Additionally, the CCIBC conducts seminars and events to educate international business executives and to create an international business community in Chester County.
