Overview:
The America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF) is a not-for-profit fundraising organization established to encourage, promote and sustain cultural excellence in Israel. Today, AICF is one of the most significant private funders of all the art disciplines in Israel including music, the visual and design arts, film and television, dance and theater. AICF's main focus is its scholarship program through which approximately 800 scholarships are awarded each year to Israeli students of the arts as well as to educational cultural programs throughout Israel. One of AICF's most important ongoing projects is the Sharett Scholarship Program. More than 900 scholarships are awarded annually to talented Israeli creative and performing artists who undergo stringent auditions, conducted by professionals in the disciplines of music, visual arts, theater, dance, file and television.
